Tyler has been an integral part of the growth of our company since 2020.
Where are you from originally?
Canandaigua, NY, which is near Rochester.
Where did you go to college?
I went to Hobart College in Geneva, NY, where I played soccer and was the goalkeeper for four years. I was also a captain and joined the coaching staff after I graduated. As a coach, I won a Conference Championship. Our conference was the Liberty League.
What is most important to you?
Family. I have 5 nephews and 2 nieces. I get to visit New York often and love getting to watch them grow up. (I’m the favorite uncle).
Tell us about your start in the industry.
I moved down to Texas about two years ago for a change, and that’s when I started working for Trilogy. I quickly became obsessed with aviation and learned everything I could about the industry.
What do you love about the industry?
I’m drawn to how fast-paced it is and how it’s constantly changing. Every work day is different. I love working with clients from all over the world and building relationships with them. It’s a great feeling to make travel easier for people and give them a great experience. Building that kind of trust with people is fantastic.
What is a perk of your job?
Meeting clients face-to-face has to be one of the best perks. We’re based out of Fort Worth, right next to Meacham International, so many local clients fly in and out regularly. In that case, I go over and meet them at the aircraft. Since our clients are from around the world, I also get the opportunity to travel to different destinations to meet clients. Recently, we met a client in San Antonio who had a large group flying to the Kentucky Derby.
Of course, getting to see and fly in private jets is a perk. Being around them all the time helped me learn about the industry quickly.
What is the office like?
The office culture makes me want to come to work every day. I love working with our team. Getting to help them grow and learn is such a joy.
