Trilogy Aviation Group demonstrates safety on a day-to-day basis when working with both clients and operators. Our clients fly confidently with us because we hold our Part 135 charter carriers to a safety standard higher than what is required by the FAA. Here is what goes on behind the scenes when you book a charter with Trilogy.
For each flight, Trilogy requires a passing ARGUS Trip Cheq or Wyvern Pass Report. An ARGUS Trip Cheq or Wyvern Pass Report are detailed reports supplied by third-party auditing firms verifying the charter carrier, aircraft, and crew qualifications. ARGUS and Wyvern are two of the most accurate and detailed third-party safety auditors in the nation, representing the industry’s highest standards. The passing reports we receive before each flight prove that the operator, pilots, and aircraft meet their requirements. Trilogy is a Registered ARGUS Broker as well as a Wyvern broker. To ensure your safety, through the systems we access the operator’s history of aircraft, crew, and documents making sure they are up to date with the Trilogy safety standard.
Additionally to the non-owned aircraft insurance Trilogy carries, we obtain additionally insured on the charter provider’s aircraft insurance policy. Being additionally insured on the aircraft policy further protects our clients. Trilogy will not fly a trip with a charter provider who does not provide us with additionally insured as well as holding the appropriate liability and insurance amount on the specific aircraft flown. To further verify the Part 135 air carrier is current with FAA standards, we require the most up-to-date documents they have on file.
Two pilots are standard when flying commercial. However, not all private jets require two pilots to be flown. Trilogy Aviation Group will not fly a charter on an aircraft without two qualified pilots, even if the aircraft is certified for single-pilot operation. Both pilots must provide their total flight time, time in type, license type, and medical exam information to verify currency. This information is also listed on an ARGUS Trip Cheq or Wyvern Pass Report.
